About me
I've been currently working as a game tester at Zitro for almost a year now, there I've learned bash, GIT control, how to use Jira in a big scale and the pipepline for a proper development among other things.
I have the Bachelor's Degree in Video Game Design & Development in UPC University at CITM, Spain. Since always i've wanted to be part of the creation process of a videogame, understand how they work and the most atractive elements of each one. That's why i'm focused on game design & gameplay programming mainly.
I consider myself a hard worker designer & programmer eager to achieve my goals. My proactivity & self learning helps me to improve my skills each day!

Gerard seems to have an intuitive understanding about what a game needs.
As the Lead Designer I always found that discussing things with him helped us clear our minds and end up with a clear direction on what to focus on. Although, I suspect this ability isn’t something innate, rather he’s been developing it by acquiring as much knowledge about videogames as he could.
The awesome thing about him, is that he’s not only able to identify the critical features that need to be developed, but he is also able to develop them. On our last project he found that improving some aspects of our game’s feel had an enormous impact on the player’s enjoyment. And so, he got in charge of adding most of the VFX, which he perfected beyond what we thought it was possible.
In the same line, he guided others towards what was important. He established a clear path of communication with the coding team, and requested features such as controller rumble, screen shake and hit freeze. His proactivity is something I haven’t seen in most members of the team and I’m incredibly grateful for it and for the time it saved us.
In our case, by focusing on the little things that others overlooked and considered not core, and thanks to his care and attention for the game, the quality increased drastically. I’m sure wherever he goes he will continue improving games and making the players experience things they’ve never felt before.
